Japan Trip: The first thing I saw when
we arrived at the Narita airport were the men on the ground bowing as the plane
stopped. This was just the beginning of the extreme politeness
and respect the Japanese showed us, which is not well known in western culture. They are an intriguing people. From the moment they wake they devote themselves to the perfection of whatever they pursue. I have never seem such discipline. The best thing I experienced had to of either been climbing a mountain with my host family and staying at a luxurious hotel or The tokunai dance. I really enjoyed being able to get involved with something as fun as dancing the streets of Murayama. This dance lasted three hours, but I barely noticed the time go by because of the amount of fun that we were having. We really saw so much in Japan and experienced so much. This was due to all of the caring people who put there time and effort into this program and people like Lou and Rick that had a dedication to make it the best experience for us. I greatly appreciate everyone who helped in any way. This trip has changed my life and I will forever remember all the great times that I had.
