Name: Jacob (or commonly known as Cobs)

-Hockey, I enjoy playing hockey because it is Canada’s true sport! A sport in which anger can be released, yet, at the same time be off in your own little world all at once. I love the rush and passion involved with the game, for without the dented garage doors, flaming hockey sticks, and injured brother who would I be today?
-Running, Although it may not be as violent as hockey, it’s 200% more humorous. Either then the fact I care for my health greatly, I can generally get a good chuckle when jogging. Passing by someone who shouts that “o my” and startles as you pass them on the street, now that, that makes my day every time. So all those people out there who have ever been startled by runners, please don’t stop, you make my day!
-Painting, It all started back in kindergarten, I could do magic with those little fingers of mine. The little minds behind finger paintings, however, as I’ve aged painting has become more of an expression and release of emotion. From the basics of finger painting to the advanced skills of flicking a paintbrush( I hope during global I may finally find the answer to why flicking a paintbrush and making a mess is art!)

Favorite Quotes:
“Through humor, you can soften some of the worst blows that life delivers. And once you find laughter, no matter how painful your situation might be, you can survive it.” This is one of my favorite quotes of all time because of the truthfulness behind it. Humor can sometimes be the only cure for the worst life has in store. A simple laugh can put the smiles not only on your face but others around you as well.
We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.” This quote has been very meaningful to me since my friend told me it, the meaning behind it is just so powerful and has shown how far the world has come in such a small amount of time

Future Plans:
I will not lie, I always wanted to be a pizza delivery boy. When I was a kid I noticed pizza cars always going REALLY fast, however, that dream came to an end when I figured out pizza boys don’t legally speed like police cars. It broke my heart. So now I plan on becoming an electrical engineer and opening an electric cell manufacturing business with my cousin. After next year I plan on going to the University of McGill or Waterloo where I plan on getting a masters degree. I’m greatly looking forward to that, and hoping to experience many new things.
